Although we recommend annual checkups to monitor all aspects of your dental health from tooth decay, occlusion and bite, to a check for any signs of oral cancer for all our patients, this is particularly relevant following a course of cosmetic dentistry.

Most of our work is guaranteed for up to 5 years but in order to validate this it is a condition that you attend for regular maintenance check ups.  During these visits the condition of your cosmetic work is recorded and your bite checked rigorously so that no damage is caused to it or your other teeth.

Equally important is that you keep your visits with our hygienist at whatever interval is recommended, usually every 6 months but often even more regularly, rarely less.  Michelle will be able to advise you on care of your cosmetic work and your whole dentition to maximise the lifetime of any investment you have made in yourself.
